At the end of 2023, November 6th to 9th to be precise, IAMRA is holding the 15th International Conference on Medical Regulation. I received a mandate by being appointed as the chief executive of the activity to form a national committee under the supervision of IAMRA. We invite IAMRA members and prospective members to attend the 15th IAMRA International Conference in Bali. Bali or the Island of Gods is one of more than 17,000 magnificent islands spread across Indonesia. In a country with a majority Muslim population, Bali still adheres to its strong traditional roots and most of them embrace Hinduism. In Bali you will experience an extraordinary cultural experience with its beautiful natural scenery, whether on the beach, mountains, rice fields, traditional villages or thousands of temples where local people worship. In addition, Bali is also an area for organizing international activities, with a proud reputation. Hence, we represent the Indonesian Medical Council, as the host, and will do our best to organize the 15th IAMRA International Conference activities so that attendees feel comfortable and have a wonderful conference experience. Apart from the community, the Government of Indonesia is also very supportive of this activity, making it easier for the committee to carry out coordination at all levels. In the pandemic era and afterward, health regulation will be more relevant and more needed in order to achieve cooperation between medical regulatory stakeholders. Enjoy the conference, the general assembly and your time while in Bali, a gorgeous place you should visit at least once in your lifetime. Prof. dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.D., M. Biomed, Ph.D. |
